Budget friendly, outdoor planters from Amazon, including my favorite new set, that are all perfect for a patio, deck or front porch!
Since we have been working on a huge DIY project, that I can’t wait to share more about later this summer, all of our other house projects have been put on hold.
But, our front porch was looking very dreary, and I couldn’t stand it any more. So, we gave it a small front porch makeover on a budget. I knew I wanted a nice matching set of planters on each side of the door.
With our time crunch, I wanted to find a set available with 2 day shipping on Amazon, but I also wanted them to be budget friendly. I wasn’t sure if I was going to have any luck because well, nice, large, outdoor planters are heavy and usually pricey.
After an extensive two night search though, I found several options, which I was very excited about! So, I thought it would be helpful to share all of them with you, as well as the ones I purchased!

My Favorite Budget Friendly Outdoor Planters from Amazon
After reading many reviews, I finally decided to order this beautiful, 3 piece set of concrete planters that are actually lightweight! AND they are super budget friendly for the set of 3!
There were many gorgeous colors to choose from, but I ended up picking the Pure White color, since it was ready with 2 day shipping and I thought the white would look best against our beige/brown/gray siding.
Some of the reviews mentioned poor shipping/packaging and cracks, so I was a little nervous, but when they arrived they were packaged well and with no cracks!
They are modern, yet classy, and I love how the big planter balances out the other two on each side of the door, without looking to symmetrical or matchy matchy.
Up close, the texture looks and feels just like concrete! This has to be one of my favorite budget friendly, but still very high end looking purchases from Amazon.
They look beautiful for our small front porch makeover and they are just the look I wanted!
Planter inserts for large outdoor planters
To avoid filling the entire planters up with dirt, I bought a large planter insert and a medium size planter insert, which worked great for the two larger planters.
I know you can use things like crushed cans or recyclables, but I didn’t have enough of those and these inserts were super easy to use.
