Learn the easiest way how to update and hide a wall outlet, no electrician is needed!
We recently completed our entryway makeover where we color drenched the room (painted everything) with a darker, greige paint color called Ethereal Mood by Sherwin Williams.
Normally when we paint an accent wall or any wall with a wall cover on it, we will paint the outlet cover the same color as the wall to help conceal it. So, that’s what we did at first in our entryway.
This definitely helps to conceal the wall outlet better. However, I still felt like the old, beige receptacle still stood out with the darker paint color.

We just used a paint roller and two coats of paint for our covers.

The paintable covers are quick and easy to install, you just need a screwdriver.
No electrician is needed, the covers are low cost, and they completely cover the outlet for a seamless look!
So you don’t have a beige or yellow colored outlet standing out anymore! Or if there is any old paint on your receptacle, these covers work great to cover that too!

I really love how they blend in with the wall and you can barely notice them anymore!
It’s a little detail, but I think it makes a big difference! I will definitely be using these wall outlet covers going forward!
