Adding Countertop Space to the Kitchen that’s Mobile

Our kitchen had really limited countertop space when we moved in. We did add additional countertop space in our recent kitchen makeover which was great!

Sometimes though, I wish we had even more prep space and a kitchen island when cooking and baking. So, we added this mobile kitchen cart to our kitchen!

We added it just in time for a spring brunch where I made a berry compote on a lemon pudding cake and the extra prep space was wonderful to have!

I love how the real wood top folds up and down easily so it fits in our kitchen well and provides even more prep space when needed!

The rolling kitchen cart has lots of extra storage too with the cabinets and drawers.

I love the rolling feature of the cart, so we can use it in our dining room as well for entertaining! We don’t have a dining buffet or sideboard, so this worked out perfectly.

The sage green color of the cart is beautiful, it matches our wallpaper and our new green and white stoneware dish set that I used for serving the cake.
