I’m excited to share two really easy Christmas mirror decoration ideas today! Decorating a mirror for the holidays is a fast and simple way to add charm and holiday cheer to your home for the holiday season!
Recently, we finished giving our entryway a makeover and I knew that I wanted to decorate the mirror with either garland or a wreath for Christmas decorations and to create a focal point.
I wasn’t sure which look I wanted to do, so I decided to try both out and share both Christmas decoration ideas for mirrors with you!

For both the garland and wreath ideas, I wanted to use high quality, artificial greenery, with a realistic look. I was able to find exactly what I wanted at Wayfair!

Wayfair has so many options to choose from and I love that there are product reviews with photos to help me get a good idea of what products really look like in person.
I’m sharing what I found, as well as some other options below!
Christmas Mirror Decoration Idea: Add a Christmas Wreath
The first easy Christmas mirror decoration idea is to add a small wreath to the mirror. I used this 14″ Faux Cedar Wreath. It really looks like real cedar and I love the simplicity of it!

To add a little extra charm, I tied a bow with gold, velvet ribbon and I attached it to the wreath with floral wire.
Then, I hung the faux cedar wreath on the mirror with a small, clear, damage free clip (that can hold up to 0.5 pounds).

Here are a few other beautiful, realistic looking wreath options that would look gorgeous on any mirror:

Christmas Mirror Decoration Idea: Add a Christmas Garland
The second Christmas decoration idea for mirrors is using garland! I used this beautiful, 72″ Faux Arborvitae Garland that really looks like real garland up close with its lifelike greenery!

I hung the garland on the wall, using the same clear, damage free clips that I used for the mirror. I hung it so it followed the arch shape of my mirror.

Also, I decided to place it off center to add some drama!
Finally, to add extra cheer and charm, I added twinkle lights that provide a festive touch with their warm glow!

The twinkle, fairy lights were really easy to string on the garland and I hid the little battery box at the top behind the garland.

This Arborvitae Garland would also be perfect on a fireplace mantel, stair banisters, or a table!
Here are a few other garland options, including one option that’s pre-lit already with string lights:
Both of these ideas would work in an entryway, bedroom, dining room, living room, and more for Christmas time!
I added some holiday decor on the table next to the mirror, but it would look great next to a Christmas tree too, especially if you have a large mirror or round mirror!
I really love how both of these Christmas mirror decoration ideas turned out on our wall mirror! I can’t decide which is my favorite! Which Christmas decoration idea for mirrors do you like best?!
They both provide a classy, festive look that I love!

I like the garland best. Lovely. The wreath is nice too but does appear to be floating in space. 😁
