Cozy and Classic Christmas Mantle Decor

One of our house goals this year was to finally finish our mantel makeover, which started 2+ years ago, in time for Christmas…and we did it! Here is a before and after of where we started vs. all made over and decked out for Christmas!

Past Christmas Mantels

If you’ve been following along for a while you may remember, this mantel transformation had a lot of twists and turns to get here! For our second Christmas here, we painted the mantel black.

The following year we installed a DIY shiplap fireplace with a faux stone surround and decorated it for a cozy cottage Christmas look:

Present Christmas Mantel

This year, we redid the fireplace with a DIY brick surround and I was finally happy with this corner fireplace transformation.

To decorate it for Christmas, I started by mixing inexpensive old garland with this real look cedar garland that I hung from the mantel with these hooks.

Then, I twisted these beautiful vine garland l i ghts that have a twinkle mode. They were definitely worth the price! I topped the corner off with red berry stems and Christmas bells.

Some favorite Christmas mantel additions this year are these Christmas tree taper candles in eggnog.

And this ornament Christmas candle. It looks like a beautiful ornament but is an amazing smelling balsam and fir candle.

I love how cozy and magical it all turned out! And I love the Christmas tree decor I used too this year, which I found most of it from Amazon! I have everything I used for this Christmas mantel and tree linked below!
