We are in the planning phase for our DIY kitchen makeover! But, before we get started I am making an effort to go through our kitchen cabinets to declutter and get everything organized better.
Today I am sharing about our kitchen cabinet organizers I used as well as some tips for how to organize kitchen cabinets!

I found all of these kitchen cabinet organizers at Wayfair! They have a really large selection of organization products which helped make this project easy and fast!
I also love that so many of their products have customer reviews with photos of the products, it really helps me to get a good idea of what the product actually looks like in different homes!
DIY Kitchen Cabinet Organization
My #1 tip before starting any organization project, including kitchen cabinets, is to declutter first! I find this is easiest to do by taking everything out of my kitchen cabinet that I want to organize.
The two cabinets I am focusing on first are in our DIY built in kitchen cabinet. This is what it looked like BEFORE I started decluttering and adding organizers:

With the decluttering complete, it’s time for the fun organizing part!
1. Sliding Pullout Cabinet Drawer Shelves
We store really heavy, small kitchen items in these big cabinets, like our KitchenAid mixer and dutch oven. They are both difficult to get out due to their size and weight.
These ready to install sliding pullout cabinet drawer shelves were the perfect solution!
They come with adhesives or screws to install, but I went with the screws since I was going to be using them for heavy items.

Super easy to install, just 4 screws and a screwdriver!

I love that they expand perfectly to your cabinet space too!

They hold up to 50 pounds each and they worked great for our heavy items! These would be perfect for kitchen cabinet storage for pots and pans too!

2. Hidden, Door Mounted Paper Towel Holder
I was getting tired of our paper towel holder sitting on our counter. We don’t have much space on our kitchen counters and it’s not the prettiest thing to leave out either!
I discovered this wall mount paper towel holder to mount on the inside of our cabinet door!

It also comes with adhesive or screws to install. Note, I originally decided to install it with the adhesive, but I installed it in the wrong spot.
The adhesive is not easily removable, so if you use it make sure you’re 100% sure of the placement!
After taking some time to get the adhesive off, I reinstalled it in the correct spot with 3/8″ screws.
Tip: To help hold it in place for installation, use painter’s tape!

You could also install this under a cabinet too!
I love having our paper towels hidden away and now my toddlers can get their own paper towels easily now.

One final tip for installation of this paper towel holder is to make sure it will clear any other pull out shelves or cabinet doors when opening/closing.

3. Cabinet Divider Organizer
Our smaller cabinet had several of our baking racks, cupcake pans, and cutting boards all stuffed together and it was hard to pull them out without everything coming out at once.
BEFORE:

This cabinet divider organizer was really easy to install with screws and provided much easier access to my baking items!

Now I can simply pull out what I need, instead of everything coming out at the same time!

4. Recycling Bag Cabinet Door Organizer
Finally, we needed a dedicated spot for recycling our plastic bags. I found this bag cabinet door organizer to help! There isn’t any installation required, it literally just hangs over the cabinet door!
I actually placed it on another kitchen cabinet door in our kitchen that’s a bit more hidden because it does show the door hooks a little bit at the top from the outside.

It’s so nice to have a dedicated, hidden spot for our plastic bags now!
Would any of these kitchen cabinet organizers work well in your kitchen? Do you have any other DIY kitchen cabinet organization ideas that you love?!
I can’t wait to get started on our kitchen makeover soon!
