We’ve been working on my son’s bedroom makeover. Last week I shared the beautiful full wall wallpaper that we installed. This week I am excited to share about his bedding refresh that’s perfect for the spring and summer months!
When it comes to bedding, I love using natural materials that are both beautiful and laid back feeling, for that effortless, cozy, light, and luxurious look and feel!

For my son’s bedroom, I really wanted to stick to an organic, neutral look and color palette I also wanted it to work well with his greige colored, DIY shiplap headboard and wood stained DIY round end table that we built a few years ago!

For all of the bedding, it’s actually by The Company Store (one of my favorite bedding brands), but sold at The Home Depot! The Home Depot carries The Company Store and most of it is on sale right now too!
Sheet Set
First, I started with these windowpane, soft, cotton percale sheets. They are available in multiple colors, but I love the tan.
It adds a subtle pattern to the room which adds interest but compliments all of the other decor and wallpaper too!

Linen Quilt
Second, I added this gorgeous, textured linen quilt! I love this quilt so much that I want to get it for my bed!
It’s handcrafted with 100% European linen and the texture look up close is stunning and really helps to provide both the laid back and luxurious look!
All of the colors are beautiful that it comes in, including the linen color I chose.
It’s perfect for the warmer months ahead this spring and summer.

Pillows and Throw Blanket
As I shared in my 7 tips to layered bedding like a designer, pillows are a great place to make a statement and really bring the look of your bedding together.
To do this, I used the matching linen shams and the windowpane pillowcases that were included with his sheet set.
I also topped it off with this chunky cable knit throw pillow which really tied it all together and added more beautiful texture.

And I refreshed two of his bed pillows that were very frumpy with these down alternative pillow inserts which are really comfortable and nice and plump looking too!
Also, I added this beautiful, floral block print throw blanket on top for a layered look and I just love the simple, pretty pattern of it too!

Scalloped Baskets
Finally, I added several of his stuffed animals to these adorable scalloped wicker baskets (they come in a set of two).

I just love how this bedroom makeover is coming along, this beautiful bedding is really bringing it all together!
I have the perfect artwork for above the bed that I will be adding soon to complete this wall!
