Sharing garage storage shelves ideas and garage organization for the last corner of our garage!

Over two years ago we started tackling our messy and overcrowded garage by decluttering and adding storage and organization systems.
Our garage had zero storage or organization to it, it was just an empty, unfinished garage that we piled all of our extra stuff into after moving.
Here is a look at the BEFORE! So embarrassing!

We started on one side of the garage by painting the garage walls, building DIY garage cabinets, and adding a DIY pegboard wall.

Then, we moved on to other side, adding lots of garage storage and organization ideas and 8 foot long DIY garage shelves.

The last projects we finished were DIY garage ceiling storage and wall organization with wall tracks.

But, we had one messy corner remaining that we recently cleared out and decluttered. It was the perfect corner for more garage shelves.

However, this time we decided to purchase shelves rather than build them. It went much faster!
We bought these super easy to assemble, heavy duty garage shelves! The shelf heights are adjustable too!

We went with the 48″ wide x 24″ deep x 71″ tall size, but there are multiple sizes available! The shelves are also available in white and even more sizes.

I also love that these storage shelves look like wood but they are actually laminated so they are easy to wipe down and move things on and off.

The black frame and wood shelf look matches our DIY garage shelves well!

The quality is really great and they look so pretty too with our new bins.

We don’t have everything loaded up on these yet and I know they won’t stay looking this pretty, but I am enjoying it for now haha!

Speaking of the bins, these collapsible storage bins are a great size and come in several pretty colors too!

I also added these smaller bins with lids as well as our plastic storage bags which I use all of the time for different things like clothes, linens, pillows, etc.

After I took these photos, we added two heavy duty wall hooks on the side wall to hang our leaf blower and trimmer.

We do have some more wall items to hang up and one more round of decluttering/organizing, but then our garage projects are finally complete! It feels so good!
What was once a massive mess and project has slowly transformed into a more functional and better looking space over the past few years. It feels so good! And we can finally park our SUV in the garage again! Yay!!

Amazing! We will try these bins to at long last organize our garage. Thanks for sharing!
