7. DIY Wooden Christmas Tree Sconce

I really wanted this list of woodworking gift ideas to be useful for year round but I just had to include my favorite and readers favorite Christmas wooden gift ideas! Our DIY wooden Christmas tree sconce!

These little wood Christmas trees are adorable and can hold a mason jar with a candle (hence the sconce) or they can hold other decor or greenery for the holiday season!

Not only are they easy to make, but they are super cheap! I made two for less than $10! You can also use scrap wood for this project if you have some extra 1×4 wood!

8. Easy DIY Wooden Christmas Trees

If you want another DIY wood Christmas tree idea, here is a larger version of the wood trees above which would work great on a front porch! There are two different sizes that you can make for them based on your preference.

They are simple to make, the main supplies and basic tools needed are wood glue, a brad nailer, and a miter saw.

Here is another great gift idea for the little ones, a DIY kids table!

My kids love using this table for everything from snack time to coloring and just playing with toys on it! There are so many different ways to use it and it will last a long time!
